Community Dines to Help Educational Cause

The annual local fundraiser, A Taste of Oconee, again will feature local restaurants from 5-8 p.m. this Saturday at the Oconee Civic Center.

The event’s mission is to support the Fine Arts program at Oconee Middle School.

One ticket will grant access to dishes from many local restaurant vendors, including The Granary, Scoops, and Fox’s Pizza Den.

In addition, the band and chorus of OCMS will play music throughout the course of the occasion. A raffle for art and local services will also be held to raise money.

Those interested can purchase tickets from any member of the OCMS band or chorus, at the Oconee Civic Center, at the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce, or in the front office of Oconee County Middle School.
